CROSSING OVER

Crossing Over is a two day festival, taking place in the Vardø spring, and allows a deep dive into topics of interest and local relevance. It is interdisciplinary and intergenerational in nature, with a “hop on hop off” program migrating through Vardø. Previous themes include Cinematic ritual, Soumi Soundings and Fish Tale, exploring themes like Sami culture, queer identity, Finnish roots and fishery politics.
