REMIXED

Remixed a bake festival in Vardø, celebrating and reviving interest in Vardø’s rich, but commercially inactive, bakery history. In two workshops invited participants explored old recipes and reinvent them with local ingredients, and the results were tasted in an open bake event. The workshops document historical baking culture and traditions at risk of being forgotten. The project goal was to generate local engagement, gather and share information, create new baking ideas, and inspire future related projects. Remixed also resulted in including the production of a recipe booklet.
